What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Attendant position at Professional Consultative Examination Services?
Growing occupational medicine practice is seeking a part-time Clinical Attendant approximately 3-5 days per month. The Clinical Attendant will partner with a Provider and Medical Assistant to conduct disability evaluations on behalf of Social Security. This is a great entry-level opportunity for health care professionals or recent graduates with plans to pursue careers in the medical field. The Clinical Attendant is responsible for specific aspects of direct care and monitoring of safety under the supervision of a board-certified provider.
Must have excellent time-management skills and be 100% reliable on reporting to work.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Upholding a professional and compassionate demeanor.
- Accompanying claimants to exam rooms and attending physical examinations.
- Providing comfort and support to claimants, including answering any questions they may have and addressing any concerns they may raise.
- Being an active member of and contributor to the interdisciplinary team.
- Utilizing safe, timely, effective, equitable, efficient and patient-centered communication.
- Opportunity to learn Electronic Health Record software and support the provider with data entry and scribing duties during the examination.
- Light support duties including cleaning protocols and general clinical duties.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of AS degree is health care strongly preferred.
Experience: Previous health care experience preferred.

Salary: $14 per hour
