Animator

We have an exciting opportunity for an Animator to join the creative social team at a Fortune 100 Financial Services Corporation located in Richmond, VA. This is a long term, contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have excellent illustration skills who will create highly engaging complex animations for a diverse array of social platforms. This person will be a collaborator who will work with a team of illustrators, designers, copywriters, creative directors, producers and brand and marketing strategists. To be considered, a demo reel showcasing animation, motion design and illustration is required. Animator Responsibilities: - Assist and/or lead in the development and creation of animation storyboards. - Prepare conceptual layouts for animation or motion graphics projects. - Brainstorm big concepts one day and tackle detail-oriented projects the next. - Encode, convert, edit videos, and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics. - Assist in selecting appropriate audio, graphic and animation styles for projects. Animator Qualifications: - At least 2 years of experience using design, motion graphics, animation, and editing software like Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, and Maya. - Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Motion Graphics. - At least 3 years animation and motion design experience. - Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects happening at the same time. - Deliver error-free work, using best practices with keen attention to detail. - Present your work in a compelling way to create support across different audiences.
