Shipping Lead
Job Posting for Shipping Lead at Profire Energy, Inc.
Profire Energy is a technology company that provides burner and combustion management systems and solutions for natural and forced draft applications in the oil and gas industry. We are looking for a shipping lead to join our team and coordinate the shipping department logistics to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining excellent product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train the shipping team members on proper procedures and safety standards
- Manage international and domestic shipping using specified carriers and freight forwarders
- Prepare shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.
- Perform quality checks and inspections on outgoing shipments
- Maintain inventory of all shipping materials and perform Inventory counts as needed
- Communicate with customer service, sales, and production departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the shipping process
- Track and monitor the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience and ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Proficient in computer skills, such as Microsoft Office, FedEx, WorldShip, etc.
- Knowledge of international and domestic shipping regulations and requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, climb, carry
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skill
