POSITION OVERVIEW
The Blocks Administrator is responsible for managing Blocks, a program administration tool used to conduct Quality Control for voter registration applications. Responsibilities will include scheduling staff, responding to program flags, generating reports, and assigning packets. This role will also assist with completing visual quality control and phone verification calls to voter registration applicants in Blocks.
A Blocks Administrator may also be responsible for completing audits, tracking Quality Control Associate performance benchmarks, managing reports, and additional project-related tasks as assigned by the Quality Control Manager. As needed, the position will also assist with Quality Control projects led by the Quality Control Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Blocks Administrator reports to the Quality Control Manager and is responsible for the following:
- Ensuring that the Quality Control process meets timelines and benchmarks
- Performing administrative tasks in the database BLOCKS (assigning packets, scheduling staff, responding to flags, and pulling Quality Control Reports)
- Conduct verification calls to registration applicants
- Complete audits of staff and partners as assigned by the Quality Control Manager
- Pulling Blocks reports as assigned by the Quality Control Manager, including data analysis and summarizing findings
- Enter data into Blocks
- Day-to-day management of the Quality Control process for physical and online voter registration programs
- Other tasks as required by the Quality Control Manager
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in coalition with progressive organizations or experience working in diverse communities, particularly in communities of color
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google Suite applications (i.e., Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), Zoom, Asana, Concur, and other office productivity tools, with an aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills are required; they must be detail-oriented and can prioritize and work independently.
- Demonstrated ability and experience to act proactively and to effectively anticipate and respond to the needs of the Quality Control Manager.
- Demonstrated success working in a high work volume, fast-paced, and complex matrix environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong listening skills.
- Professional demeanor and telephone manners are essential.
- Team-based interpersonal skills.
- Strong data management skills (Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets); experience with Blocks, VAN (Voter Activation Network), or other civic engagement platforms is a plus

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline in a related field preferred
- One year of civic engagement experience
- One plus years of experience in data management and/or project management
- One to two cycles of experience in voter registration or civic engagement required
- Experience in a supervisory or management role preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
LOCATION
The position is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and requires working a hybrid schedule with some required travel (15%).
REPORT TO: Quality Control Manager
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary is $68,000 based on experience, plus a competitive benefits package including health and dental insurance, retirement matching, generous paid time off, and paid family leave.
