Program Development Services, Inc. is seeking energetic people, looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a person’s life by providing in-house and community care, training, and counseling to the people we support at one of our residential facilities located in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Manhattan.

Job Availability: Part-time, 16 hours per week
Shifts Available: Saturday and Sunday: 8 am - 4 pm, 7 am - 3 pm, 9 am - 5 pm, 3 pm - 11 pm
Residential Locations: Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Brighton Beach, the Bronx, Canarsie, Dyker Heights, Flatbush, Manhattan, Red Hook, Sheepshead Bay, Williamsburg
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide each individual support with their growth in areas including but not limited to counseling, budgeting, food preparation, activities of daily living and recreation
- Ensure that all program and service plans are implemented and documentation is completed.
- Accompany individuals on medical, clinical and other visits deemed necessary by the I.D.T
- Follow all policy and procedures of the agency.
- Administer medication to the individuals (with proper training)
Qualifications:
- Authorization to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or its equivalent, required
- One year experience in the human services field, preferred
- AMAP, SCIP, CPR, and First Aid Certifications preferred, but not required
