**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our educational team. The School Counselor will provide support and guidance to students, helping them navigate academic, social, and personal challenges. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students to address academic and personal issues - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create effective strategies for student success - Develop and implement programs to promote mental health awareness and positive coping mechanisms - Assist students in setting academic and career goals - Provide crisis intervention when necessary - Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field; Master's degree preferred - State licensure or certification as a School Counselor - Experience in childhood development, tutoring, childcare, or babysitting - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds - Experience working with students in educational settings or sports coaching is a plus - Knowledge of special education principles and practices This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students.
