POSITION OVERVIEW


This Analyst role requires an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, experience with financial statements, financial modeling and strong communication skills are required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in executing M&A and Equity Capital Markets transactions in the Technology vertical, and a strong desire to be part of a team executing those transactions for high-growth technology companies in the private markets.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist all members of core team and senior bankers in executing new client engagements and successfully completing transactions
  • Conduct market research, research prospects, and build buyers lists
  • Build pitch decks, information memorandums, valuation analyses, and financial models using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Assist in training/mentoring Interns

Preparation of Deal Team Packages / Marketing Documentation

  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy and production of all reporting and analytics pertinent to a given project
  • Conduct all business matters with the highest degree of integrity and ensure that a culture of compliance and camaraderie is fostered

Engagement Management

  • NDA processes, tracking outbound / inbound engagement emails and calls, coordinating weekly process updates for clients, scheduling both internal and external calls and meetings
  • Assist in managing due diligence, including coordination with sellers and any third-party advisors for accounting, legal or related services as well as client internal functional teams
  • Measurable Skills- Employees at Analyst Level Must Demonstrate Proficiency in:
  • Market/industry/operational research and analysis
  • Production of deal marketing materials and management of investment banking documents
  • Analysis of potential deals and creation of proposals for prospective clients
  • Facilitation and engage in client communications
  • Valuation analyses: comparables and DCF
  • Advanced note taking abilities - ability to synthesize notes for client distribution
  • Proficiency in material generation:
    • Pitch decks
    • Briefings
    • CIM or CIP
    • Client Process Overview Decks
  • NDA processing
  • Campaign tracking and coordination


Successful Analyst candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in investment banking or corporate M&A, and a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business. The candidate must be self-motivated, proactive and professional, and be prepared to work in a fast-moving environment.
