Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs for our commercial and multi-family customers. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of problems common to both commercial and multi family properties.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries from staff.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve facility operations.
Skills
- Ability to problem solve issues on the spot.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various systems.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including basic electrical, basic plumbing, and carpentry work.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
- Ability to supervise projects and coordinate with other technicians.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
