What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Adjuster - Rideshare position at Progressive Insurance?
As an injury claims adjuster at America’s #1 commercial auto insurer, you’ll manage claims from customers with small businesses or commercial product policies. Along with handling the injury portion of a claim, you’ll support customer needs while ensuring swift resolution. You’ll also use strong negotiation and customer service skills to interact with customers, insurance carriers and others. In-depth training along with ongoing coaching will be provided, allowing you to feel confident in performing your job and developing relationships with our customers. Duties & responsibilities - Settle unrepresented bodily injury claims, among other things - Make coverage decisions that determine the extent of Progressive’s liability - Gather details through interviews and investigations regarding those injured in an accident - Calculate benefit payments and approves payment of claims within a defined monetary limit - Mitigate and negotiate down or lost time for small business owners and operations Must-have qualifications - Bachelor's degree or a combined total of 5 years of work experience and/or college education.
