As a digital designer on the Claims Systems Development team, you’ll be responsible for the visual design of complex, web-based user interfaces for digital applications used by our Claims organization. You’ll drive consistency, connectivity, and efficiency in UX design for applications, products, and solutions that are being developed across the Claims platform. Additionally, you’ll ensure users are able to execute workflows more efficiently and intuitively. This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for a meeting and/or training. If you are interested, you’ll also have the option to work a hybrid or full-time office schedule depending on your location. Duties and responsibilities - Overarching UX Designers for Claims applications being built for and used by the Claims organization - Translate low-fidelity UI mockups from tools like Balsamiq into high-fidelity tools or straight-to-HTML-designs. - Participate in planning activities and appropriate Scrum ceremony meetings (Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, Daily Standup). - Designs usability test scripts and high-level research surveys to capture intent for research efforts. - Tests designs/flows in the formal usability lab to gather feedback, report feedback, recommend changes and make necessary revisions. Must-have qualifications - Bachelor's degree or higher in Web Design, Graphic Design or related field of study (Visual Communications) and a minimum of five years visual web design experience. - In lieu of a degree, a minimum of nine years related website design, graphic design or multimedia development experience.
