As a front end developer for our in-house creative agency, ninety6, you'll use code to bring web-based interfaces to life for our partners in Talent Acquisition Marketing. You'll lead and implement technical solutions and collaborate with creative and strategic partners to align user needs with business objectives. You'll primarily focus on Talent Marketing projects including updates to the careers section of progressive.com, migrating the careers blog into a Content Management System (CMS), and working with our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Additional projects may include the augmented reality Progressive Art application, and initiatives surrounding our content marketing hubs, external sites, and more. You’ll collaborate with teams in different marketing disciplines, contributing to the dynamic culture of Progressive while employing your sense of creativity, technical precision and communication skills. Must-have qualifications - Associate's degree or higher in an Information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 1 year of front-end development or related work experience - In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of front-end development or related work experience Preferred skills - Proficiency in HTML with an understanding of semantic markup, CSS, and preprocessing with SCSS, plus expertise in JavaScript. Exposure to other frameworks like Vue, NuxtJS, React, Angular a plus. - Experience integrating decoupled and/or headless CMS platforms via API like ContentStack, Contentful, or Strapi. - Ability to translate unique custom design mock-ups (Figma, Adobe XD or Photoshop) into functional responsive webpages. - Knowledge of web accessibility standards, user experience (UX) best practices and common user interface (UI) patterns. - Ability to analyze, research and troubleshoot technical issues and clearly communicate complex problems to partners and stakeholders.
