DOTD Driver Description

• Deliver and pick up agriculture and construction equipment between company facilities, customer locations, or vendor sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of brakes, lights, mirrors, tires, steering column, and other required assessments.
• Follow and maintain loading protocols; using chains, binders, blocks, and straps to secure cargo.
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo when required.
• Maintain product quality throughout delivery.
• Inspect trailers before and after loading.
• Follow all traffic safety regulations and exercise caution in difficult circumstances.
• Communicate all unsafe vehicle or road conditions to management.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Ensure truck always has sufficient fuel.
• Maintain knowledge of DOT regulations and submit all required documentation.
• Report all vehicle related issues for urgent attention.
• Maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, etc.
• Obtain all over size load credentials when necessary.
• Practices safely and competently within job description.
• Any other functions specified by executive management.
• Must be willing and able to work weekends and after hours.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Class A CDL license
• 3 years or experience working as a CDL driver with no legal or safety incidents on record.
• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with demands of the job.
• Good physical and emotional health.
• Enthusiasm for company products and desire to deliver them safely and on time.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, such as forklift.
• Must show proof of valid drivers license and approved Motor Vehicles Record.
• Must be able to perform all aspects of the position unassisted.
• Installation of company communication application on cellular device.

Salary : $34,300 - $43,500
