As the product manager for Louisiana, you’ll be responsible for identifying and executing a strategic plan to position this state for long-term success. In this role, you’ll lead and develop a team of two and work closely with our Pricing, Research and Development, and Catastrophe Modeling teams. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for state-level profit and loss ownership by maintaining the profitability of your portfolio while managing the catastrophe exposure in your state.
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Math/Actuarial Science or related field of study (e.g., Statistics) or a bachelor's degree and experience analyzing and interpreting quantitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on that data.
- Minimum of six years property casualty insurance experience or related experience (e.g., analytical work in a professional setting).
Preferred skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
- Experience with profit and loss results ownership
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and strategic orientation for this highly quantitative position
- Ability to analyze, develop, and manage strategies to penetrate competitor markets to successfully manage results in the presence of uncertainty and volatility.
- Action oriented with superior problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions despite imperfect or incomplete data
Compensation
- $118,800 - $169,700/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 50% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
- Participation in our restricted stock units plan
