Wellness Specialist – ProgressiveHealth, LLC – Princeton, IN
We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Wellness Specialist to support our industrial division with health and wellness services onsite for a large automotive manufacturing facility. This role will focus on promoting employee well-being, enhancing productivity, and creating a safe work environment. We strive to increase the industrial athlete’s ability to perform their job duties safely and decrease the risk of injury through intervention at the early onset of discomfort in a dynamic work environment. What will you be doing in this role?
- Supporting the Wellness program for team members and dependents.
- Implementing wellness initiatives, such as incentive-based programs, health education, and promotions.
- Supporting/developing monthly challenges and programs for team members and dependents.
- Coordinating & leading fitness classes, personal training, nutrition, and other wellness programs.
- Supporting various programs, including Early Intervention, Work Conditioning, and Safety initiatives.
- Ensuring the work environment promotes employee comfort, safety, and productivity.
- Promoting Work Conditioning Programs and Prevention Activities.
- Collaborating with the Safety and Health Department to enforce standards.
- Other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or another related field such as Physical Therapist Assistant, Health & Wellness, Health Promotion, Human Performance, Public Health, or Physical Education
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
- The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
- Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience is a plus
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
