IIB Developer

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Develop message flows, message sets, and mappings using IIB, adhering to best practices and standards.
• Configure and administer IIB runtime environments, including deployment and troubleshooting of integration applications.
• Develop and maintain reusable integration components and patterns to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Perform unit testing and debugging of integration solutions to ensure functionality and performance meet requirements.
• Work closely with testing teams to support integration testing and resolve any issues identified.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in integration technologies and recommend improvements or enhancements to existing solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of integration solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in designing and developing integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Strong understanding of message-oriented middleware concepts and integration patterns.
• Proficiency in ESQL (Embedded SQL) and message transformation techniques within IIB.
• Experience with other IBM integration products such as IBM MQ is a plus.
• Familiarity with XML, JSON, SOAP, and RESTful web services.
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration architecture principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• IBM Certified Solution Developer - Integration Bus V10.0 or higher certification.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for IIB applications.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for IIB development and deployment.
• Experience with cloud integration platforms such as IBM Cloud Pak for Integration or IBM App Connect.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,588.31 - $135,278.40 per year
