Solution Architect Dayton, OH

Projé is currently seeking a qualified, highly motivated, and experienced individual for the position of Solution Architect. The candidate will use their knowledge of computer systems and technology to architect solutions that help the client solve business problems. You will work closely with Business and IT stakeholders to define an overall solution that consists of systems, processes and data, which together, provide the envisioned business value.

Key Qualifications

• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the enterprise and collaborating internally and externally
• Deep understanding of cloud computing and how SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions can accelerate innovation and deliver while generating cost efficiencies
• Experience recognizing issues and opportunities within the business domains, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo opportunities
• Experience applying architectural principles, methods, and tools to business challenges
• Experience understanding and assessing a client's current IT capabilities/business architecture/operating model
• Experience in business analysis and modeling to develop business architecture deliverables
• Ability to communicate and present in verbal and written format in a clear, concise, and professional manner, appropriately tailored to technical and non-technical audiences
• Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of industry patterns for application architecture and integration
• Experience working within various methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, SaFe, Hybrid) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with various stakeholders to create and build business architecture models that align to the program or product.
• Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training, and / or software procurement
• Demonstrate understanding of cross-functional / cross-domain requirements and impact
• Collaborate with the business and IT to ensure that requirements are in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap/framework
• Facilitate the creation of clear and concise recommendations and solutions documentation
• Ensure developed recommendations and solutions are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits)
• Present design recommendations objectively and in a way that will facilitate effective and timely decision-making through written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize findings
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture resources to ensure segment architecture requirements are incorporated into the Data, Application, and Technology architecture frameworks.
• Stay abreast of current and emerging technologies / products / trends related to architectural solutions

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience; four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
• Four (4) years of experience translating solution requirements into technical architecture requirements and delivering technical solutions
• Three (3) years of experience with relational, non-relational, and cloud-native database technologies (MongoDB, BigQuery, CloudSQL, Firestore, etc.).
