SUMMARY:
Assist with recreation/educational programs for Hospitality House clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with arranging recreational programs both inside and outside of Hospitality House.
- Ensure proper documentation for payment is obtained and check requisitions are completed.
- Coordinate van services for recreational activities.
- Provide coverage during events as needed.
- Maintain log of educational and recreational activities and attendance.
Qualifications
Position requires experience in a related field, HS Diploma/GED required, some college preferred. Some experience with the homeless population preferred. Needs ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse projects. Must have exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing with individuals and groups regarding complex and sensitive issues or regulations. Physical ability to perform the essential job functions are needed. In addition, the Recreation Coordinator shall perform any duties as required to meet the new needs of the program and the clients that we serve. The agency reserves the right to review and change job duties and responsibilities as the need arises.
Salary : $24 - $25
