Description

 As a Summer Events Intern at Project Lead The Way (PLTW) you will have the opportunity to gain meaningful experience across the Events function in key areas such as:

  • Event planning and execution
  • Vendor management and agreements
  • Food and Beverage
  • Audio Visual

You will work as a part of our Events Team to support a variety of projects and initiatives and play a part in day to day operations. We will look to you to contribute new ideas and insight as a valued member of our team, consistently demonstrating a commitment to the PLTW core values of Togetherness, Inclusion, Learning, and Customer Centricity.


This is a full time paid internship. The internship will last approximately 10 weeks beginning in May and ending in August.


As an Intern at PLTW you will:

  • Participate in meaningful projects that directly impact our business and relate to your field of study
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization 
  • Have direct exposure to cross functional Leadership and opportunities to learn about the various business functions at PLTW
  • Spend time with other summer interns and participate in foundational professional learning opportunities 

Requirements

Knowledge

  • This internship is open to students pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field of study.
