Guest Experience Coordinator

You will be a key member of our Sales and Production teams and will play a crucial role in supporting our mission of sustainable design and revitalizing local textile production in America. The responsibilities include daily guest service communication by phone and email, order processing, and team coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Daily customer service coordination
• Ability to follow established writing style guidelines and verbal protocols required
• Effectively manage all incoming phone calls and voicemail
• Effectively manage all incoming orders from the online store, online orders for dinners or workshops, catering and lunch requests
• Answering product, website questions
• Navigating Shopify E-commerce platform
• Navigating Shipstation software platform
• Navigating Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
• Take payment, process refunds, issue gift certificate codes
• Process order exchanges or returns with an expert understanding of company policy
• The School of Making Workshop and Swatch of the Month subscriber order management
• Cross train and understand shipping and fulfillment roles
• Fabric Inventory cross training

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related degree required
• At least 2 years customer service experience required
• Design and/or Fashion background preferred
• Excellent communication skills via email and telephone required
• Must have strong English language skills
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must live in the Florence, Alabama area or be willing to relocate
• Must have a keen visual eye for modern design and understanding and appreciation for design history

Project Threadways: Guest Experience Coordinator Dress Code

Dress code for this position will be clean, casual, and comfortable clothing appropriate for a business environment. Alabama Chanin collection items may be provided for store service as needed. Closed-toed shoes are preferred for safety reasons.

Minimum Job Requirements

A background in sales or guest services is preferred. Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and an organized personality are necessary. A positive attitude, creative spirit, and willingness to follow direction are a must. Able to stand for 8 hours a day and work in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, sitting, and walking for up to 8 hours a day
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs
• Repetitive movements including bending, lifting, cutting, and typing
• Ability to manage stress
• Communicating clearly with customers and staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
