JOB SUMMARY
The 340B Coordinator is a management level position with significant impact on the growth and development of all the agency’s 340B programing. The 340B Coordinator will establish, monitor and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance of the agency’s 340B program. The 340B Coordinator manages the daily operations of the agency’s medication adherence and telehealth PrEP care program. Key responsibilities of the 340B Coordinator include assisting the Clinical Supervisor of Care Services in organizing the Department to assure ongoing monitoring of performance, maintaining up to date policies, procedures and evidence based standards, communicating company goals, ongoing education of staff relative to clinical and programmatic updates, maintaining the program operations in an “audit and accreditation ready” state at all times, and providing direct services to clients on an as needed basis.
STARTING SALARY RANGE
$50,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
340B Program management and Compliance (40%)
Creates, implements and updates policies and procedures for the agency’s 340B programs
Provides education & technical assistance to agency staff and community partners around 340B
Ensures timely registration/recertification with HRSA OPAIS
Lead efforts on internal agency program audits and serves as the point of contact for all external partners (ie. Contract pharmacies)
Provides input with new 340B contracts and manages relationships with contracted pharmacies
Provides suggestions on program enhancement and optimization.
Develops and monitors monthly, quarterly and annual reports on 340B participation
Management (35%)
Supervise staff of the Medication Adherence, Mistr and other 340B supported programs
Provide ongoing monitoring of staff performance with respect to agency, local, state and federal case management standards and performance metrics.
Ensures staff remain current with all training and credentialing requirements
Timely submits required monthly, quarterly and annual reports to supervisor and external funding institutions
Direct Service (10%)
Conducts HIV/STI testing and counseling
Provide referrals/ linkages to necessary treatment/support and conduct proper referral follow-up.
Maintain proper progress logs and applicable client treatment documentation.
Adhere to professional standards as outlined by governmental bodies, professional code of ethics
Stakeholder Engagement (10%)
Foster and maintain new and existing relationships with community partners, health clinics, elected officials and other community agencies or groups.
Develop MOUs to formalize partnerships between community partners, health clinics, elected officials and other community agencies or groups.
Develop and implement participant recruitment strategies
Additional Assignments (5%)
Occasional participation in outreach activities and major organization events.
Other duties as assigned by reporting supervisor or Executive Director.
PRIORITY QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Social Work, Public Health, or related field
Pharmacy technician experience (preferred)
340B University Certification (preferred)
Minimum of two years of direct service experience with the LGBTQ and/or BIPOC community
Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural (fluent in both English and Spanish) (preferred)
Certified HIV/AIDS Tester within first 6 months of employment
Willing to work some evenings and weekends
Excellent presentation, communication and conflict resolution skills
