Job Summary
The Data and Operations Manager provides administrative support for the operations of the organization, implementing systems put in place by the Operations Director.
This position reports to the Operations Director of Project Weber/RENEW and coordinates with the Finance Director, Director of Programs, and other program staff. Must communicate well with a diverse range of staff and community members and works both independently and collaboratively within a small, close-knit team in a highly demanding, service-led environment.
Data support: 60%
- Data entry for Narcan dataDoing data entry, managing volunteers, and tracking
Weekly quality control checks
- Ensuring that all staff are on track in doing data entry, and supporting as needed
- Writing monthly reports for ongoing grants
- Ongoing data cleaning
Operations: 25%
- Inventory/Ordering suppliesMonthly large supplies trip
Ongoing program and office supply orders
Coordination with Harm Reduction Supply partners
PWT and PVD inventory - twice a week
Pick-ups for supplies
- Managing day to day volunteers, keeping a schedule of volunteers, communication
Event support 5%
- Making flyers for offices and social media
Admin/IT support 10%:
- PWT office support
- Support with timesheets in PawtucketHelp staff marking time and log into paymaster to look up PTO
- Computer support
IT inventoryDeveloping organizational policies. E.g. with updates
Defining needs for future professional IT support
Troubleshooting and taking technology to be repaired when they can’t fix them
Supporting staff in technology help, being a go-to person for computer questions
- Admin support for staff tracking and uploading appropriate paperwork
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups on complex community issues.
- Comfort with computers, including showing others how to use technology
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to manage data entry and ensure accuracy, data cleaning, and suggest/implement systems improvements
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage a variety of internal and external relationships.
- Knowledge in the area of harm reduction.
- Direct or indirect experience with substance use disorders and strong desire to effect change across the addiction care continuum.
- Experience with spreadsheets, formulas, and basic statistics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write reports
- Excellent observational and listening skills.
- Patient demeanor with the ability to relate to, empathize with, and show compassion for a variety of personalities.
- Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, or related software.
- Must have a valid license, as the position requires driving to pick up supplies.
Physical Requirements
- Able to operate standard office technology, equipment and utilize office supplies
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Position and Compensation Details
This is an in-person position based in Providence and Pawtucket, RI and does not require any out of state travel. This is a permanent, full time, exempt position, 40 hours/week, $23 - $26/hour, commensurate with experience.
The position may require the performance of other essential and non-essential job duties in addition to those enumerated above which will be determined at the discretion of management
