Job Posting for Digital Advertising Specialist at Project World Impact

Company Overview:

Project World Impact (PWI) is a leading digital marketing agency dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations and mission-driven businesses achieve their goals through strategic online marketing solutions. With a focus on creativity, innovation, and impact, we empower our clients to reach and engage their target audiences effectively. As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and make a meaningful difference in the world.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Google Ad Grant Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of online advertising, particularly within the Google Ads platform, and a passion for helping nonprofits maximize the impact of their Google Ad Grants accounts. As a Google Ad Grant Account Manager, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing multiple client accounts, developing and implementing strategic campaigns, and driving results that align with our client's missions and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Campaign Management: You'll be responsible for structuring client campaigns logically and effectively. This involves dividing campaigns by objective (brand awareness, lead generation, etc.), audience, or product/service.
  • Campaign Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly monitoring campaign performance is vital. You'll track key metrics like impressions, clicks, conversions, cost-per-acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS) to identify areas for improvement. Reporting these insights to clients in a clear and actionable way is essential for demonstrating the value you bring.
  • Campaign Budget Management: You'll be responsible for allocating the budget effectively across campaigns and ad groups, ensuring you maximize the impact of the Google Ads Grant while staying within budget constraints.
  • Campaign Experimentation: Never stop testing! Running A/B tests on different aspects of your campaigns (keywords, ad copy, landing pages) allows you to identify what works best and continually optimize performance.
  • Bidding Strategies: Selecting the most appropriate bidding strategy for each campaign is crucial. This could involve manual bidding, automated bidding (like target CPA or target ROAS), or a combination of both. You'll need to monitor performance and adjust bids to optimize spend and reach campaign goals.
  • Keyword Research & Targeting: Keyword research is the foundation of successful campaigns. You'll need to identify relevant keywords with high search volume and low competition to target the right audience. Tools like Google Keyword Planner will be helpful here.
  • Ad Group Management: Within each campaign, you'll manage ad groups. This involves creating tightly themed ad groups with relevant keywords and ad copy. The tight organization ensures your ads are highly targeted and improve their quality score, potentially lowering costs.
  • Ad Copywriting: Crafting compelling ad copy that grabs attention and drives clicks is essential. You'll need to understand your target audience, and their needs, and write clear, concise ad copy that highlights the client's value proposition. A/B testing different ad variations will help determine the best performers.
  • Landing Page Recommendations: While you won't directly manage client landing pages, you will provide expert guidance and recommendations on conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices. This ensures a seamless user experience, guiding visitors from ad clicks to the desired action.
  • Negative Keyword Management: Identifying and adding negative keywords helps prevent your ads from showing on irrelevant searches, saving budget and improving campaign performance.
  • Ad Extensions: Utilizing ad extensions like site links, callouts, and location extensions can increase the visibility and click-through rate (CTR) of your ads.
  • Mission Alignment: For non-profits, campaign success goes beyond just clicks and conversions. You'll need to understand each client's specific goals, whether it's raising awareness for a cause, increasing volunteer sign-ups, or driving donations. Align your campaign strategy with their mission to maximize impact.
  • Audience Research: Non-profits often have diverse target audiences. You'll need to conduct thorough audience research to understand their demographics, interests, pain points, and online behavior. This will help you tailor your keywords, ad copy, and landing pages to resonate with the right people.
  • Tracking & Tag Creation: Assist with tracking code implementation and create conversion tags through Google Tag Manager.
  • Data Analysis: Review data and reports from Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and other sources to analyze PPC campaign performance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Google Ads: Design and manage comprehensive Google Search Ads campaigns. Utilize AI tools to optimize Google Ad accounts for peak performance. Implement Google Display and Shopping Ads as required. Execute remarketing strategies to boost engagement and conversions.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and execute strategic email campaigns tailored to the unique needs of PWI and its clients.
  • SEO and Content Marketing: Enhance organic reach with SEO best practices and the use of sophisticated SEO tools. Craft compelling content strategies including blogs, whitepapers, and case studies to support inbound marketing efforts.
  • Social Media Ads & Organic Social Media Management: Create and optimize paid Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and YouTube Ads. Develop and manage social media strategies to strengthen online presence and promote organizational missions.
