About the Role: 

We are building a world-class Creative Team at P44. Are you passionate about increasing conversion, adoption, and loyalty via intuitive, innovative, and brilliantly designed web and mobile experiences? Join our team! We are looking for a solid and passionate designer who will enjoy leading the user experience efforts from interaction, usability, and graphic design all the way to HTML and CSS. 
 
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to drive a robust UI/UX strategy, build design systems, standards, workflows and processes.  

The right individual will be a highly collaborative team player, have experience designing UI/UX for web and mobile applications, an excellent understanding of design principles, and use of grids, typography, color, web standards, etc. and a proven ability building quality, compelling experiences. 

What you'll be doing: 

You will be responsible for bringing designs to life that align with our marketing strategies and business goals. You will work independently and collaboratively with designers, content strategists, marketers, and stakeholders to produce UX/UI deliverables like; wireframes; high-fidelity mockups; interactive prototypes, and design systems. 

You will apply your knowledge by designing engaging user interfaces that address user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints; collaborating with others in the Marketing team to understand business needs, and incorporating customer/stakeholder feedback into design decisions. You will have prime responsibility for making sure the marketing website provides a sophisticated and elegant user experience and communicating with marketers, developers, and any other stakeholders to address concerns and then find/design solutions. You will ensure that the design is consistent throughout and also be focused on continuous UI improvement based on evolving requirements, site performance, business needs and stakeholder feedback. 

This position will report to the VP of Creative and Interactive and will be an integral member of a growing team and department at P44. 

Within the context of a team, this means  

  • You will create prototypes and wireframes, work closely with the marketing team, document the design in technical specs, and create UI code (HTML, CSS) that can be utilized by the development team 
  • Participate and lead design reviews, mentor younger designers and improve internal processes 
  • Educate the organization in UI best practices and new technologies 
  • Work with teams on early prototypes that help gather ideas and shape future site enhancements.  
  • Create digital assets including landing pages, websites, micro apps, email campaigns, banner ads, social images. 
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, stay calm under pressure, and meet deadlines and be flexible/comfortable with change 
  • Translate spoken and written requirements into sketches, wireframes, and pixel-perfect interface designs; iteratively design solutions that satisfy project goals, requirements, and design tenets 

 What you'll need: 

This is an ideal position for someone 5 years of digital design experience who can play a leadership role in growing the P44 brand via cutting edge web and mobile experiences. 

Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS 

Experience designing for different operating systems, browsers and devices 

Familiarity with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) and Jamstack (JavaScript, API and Markup) 

Expertise in Adobe Xd; Figma; Sketch and other design, prototyping, and wireframing tools
