Progressive Care Nurse

Job Title : RN - Progressive Care (PCU) – Travel

Location : 1775 Thompson Rd, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420

Duration : 13 weeks contract

Shift Details : Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Must be able to float to MCU/PSU/APU - 36 hours GTD- not considering 48 hours at this time

Weekend schedule to be determined by facility

Job Description:

• Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.
• Teaches patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Recent (in the past 2 years) acute care hospital experience - REQUIRED
• 2 years experience of intermediate/progressive care experience - REQUIRED
• Facility would consider a candidate with PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience
• Certifications don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
• OR license don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
