CL&D has a great opportunity for a Sales Director in Hartland, WI.
The Sales Director leads sales activities of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through the sales team.
Responsibilities:

Develops and implements strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals, focusing on product line development, margin attainment, and territory growth.

Directs sales forecasting activities, sets performance goals for teams and individuals, and adjusts pricing based on market analyses.

Manages staffing, training, and performance evaluations to control sales programs, including national sales goals, territories, quotas, and objectives.

Monitors territory penetration, recruits and trains staff for growth, and coaches sales teams for development and annual reviews.

Represents the company at trade associations, stays current on industry knowledge, and delivers sales presentations to key clients.

Coordinates liaison between the sales department and related units, analyzes expenditures to meet budgetary requirements, and oversees profit and loss contributions.

Collaborates with Marketing for technical sales publications and prepares periodic sales reports.

Provides new product development recommendations based on customer and market evidence.

Monitors competition activities and products, and travels to sales territories regularly to support field sales in achieving objectives.

Demonstrates positive energy, upholding the company's core values, and holds direct reports accountable to them.
