JOB DESCRIPTION:

PE USA is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for the complete and seamless transition of customer orders from PE USA sales team through the installation and FAT at the customer’s facility. The Project Manager will serve as the liaison between the customer, PE Italy Project Managers, PE USA Sales teams, and the PE Service Team. The Project Managers responsibility is to ensure complete and accurate understanding of customer needs and expectations, while maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring on-time delivery of projects. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Operations. Responsibilities include the following:

• Coordinate with internal resources and customers for the flawless execution of projects.
• Act as the primary Point-of-Contact for the customer from acceptance of the purchase order through acceptance of the project at customer’s facility.
• Communication – both internally and externally to make certain that the company is aware of the customer’s expectations, and that the customer is kept informed of our intended deliverable. This includes keeping all parties informed regarding changes to the schedule and deliverables.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Partner with internal teams in creation of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Build rapport with customer and establish a lasting relationship.
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Use and continually develop leadership skills.
• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain/increase proficiency
• Enter new Quotes & Order’s into SAP & CRM
• Assist Sales Team with preparing proposals
• Perform other related duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
• 3-4 years’ experience in Project Management
• PMP Certification preferred or equivalent experience
• Experience with process improvement / Value Stream Mapping
• Advanced time management and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• SAP and Basecamp experience preferred
• Excellent client-facing and interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
• Highly organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities, including covering for other project management team members when unavailable
