The position has responsibility for systems analysis and design review which includes assuring that business problems are fully understood, detailed requirements are investigated and proposed, and to collaborate with both internal and external teams to create architecture design. One of the key responsibilities of the position is to create architectural models/diagrams of existing agency applications from multiple disciplines (business, systems, data, and technology) by gathering information from various sources within an organization and through an iterative approach, gain the necessary insight to accurately depict the architecture within each discipline.
The IT/Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in aligning state agencies need with technology solutions that drive innovation and manage/shape the overall IT strategy.
