- The addiction/mental health counselor.
- Be responsible for group and individual sessions pertaining to drug and alcohol addictions to include physical, psychological and spiritual changes.
- Will write progress notes for the groups and sessions the client can, and reports when requested for agencies that the client is referred by.
- Will attend all treatment planning, discharge planning and keep the Program Director informed of any changes in the client’s programs.
- Provide ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive reports, assessments, planning, implementation and evaluations of participants needs.
- Promote continuity of care.
- Screening, intake, orientation, assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, counseling, both individual and group facilitation, referrals and closing files.
- Participate in development and implementation of participant’s care policies and procedures, protocols for treatment and guidance in participants care and needs.
- Assist with the Program Director in meeting the facilities goals and objectives of the program.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Experience:
- Clinical counseling: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (Required)
