Proof Bread, Llc in Mesa, AZ is looking for a friendly face to represent our brand at the Flagstaff Community farmers market. We're looking for people who want to work every week consistently, as well as those who would want to sub in occasionally. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, confident, and knowledgeable. This is an independent contractor role.


Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Providing superior friendly, knowledgeable, and quality customer service at markets
  • Utilizing a Shopify POS system to ring up orders and cash handling
  • Sanitarily packaging pastry and bread to order
  • Setting up and maintaining an aesthetically pleasing market table display
  • Communicating relevant information to Market Manager within a reasonable time
  • Reporting daily sales and paying market fees on behalf of the company
  • Communicating product and business information with customers as necessary
  • Closing down market display for pickup and cleaning up
  • Safely handling valuable items and returning them to the bakery if necessary


Applicants must:

  • be familiar with and able to represent our brand positively;
  • be able to handle a high-volume sales environment while maintaining all protocols;
  • employ proper food safety procedures;
  • stand for up to 6 hours;
  • lift up to 50lbs from the ground to waist height;
  • extend work day to complete necessary tasks as needed;
  • work outdoors with unregulated temperatures;
  • thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills;
  • solve problems, ask questions, and communicate efficiently with other team members and management


Position Specifics:

  • Part-time contractor position, Sundays 7am-1230pm
  • Compensation starts at $17/hour
  • Shift begins with set up 1 hour before market open and ends once cleanup and breakdown are completed
  • No benefits offered for this position
