What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Properties Consultants?

We are seeking an energetic, collaborative team member to help with the organization and running of the daily administration operations. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. We require high quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

Handling company emails

Creating and sending proposals and invoices

Handling AR and AP accounts

Be detail oriented

May include travelling

Have knowledge in Quickbooks
Greet and welcome guests
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service attitude
