Job Description:
A property management company is seeking a full-time maintenance technician for an apartment community located in Atlanta, GA. We are searching for a maintenance technician who will provide prompt, professional, and courteous service for all resident service requests and assist the Property Manager in maintaining all physical aspects of the community.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA certification for HVAC service calls
- Minimum of 3 years in the apartment maintenance field
- Strong punch tech skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to display balance/equilibrium at heights above 5 feet and lift 50 pounds essential
- Must be able to walk the property, including stairs, on a regular and as-needed basis in order to perform duties and perform a variety of physical tasks
- Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of general property operations, HVAC, safety, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair essential
- Must be available for On-call Emergency Maintenance
- Any additional duties as assigned
- Must have your own tools
- Must possess a teamwork attitude
