Responsibilities

· Perform processes to complete assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools, electronic tools and soldering iron.

· Check components prior to assembly for suitability of use.

· Make electrical and mechanical connections.

· Perform manual and electronic record keeping and information retrieval functions.

· Follow basic blueprints and drawings to meet product specifications and maintain tight tolerances.

· Ensure accurate documentation of model and serial numbers

· Install and perform daily tasks with little guidance from supervisor.

· Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

· Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

· Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

· Properly complete all necessary job traveler orders and paperwork associated with orders.
