Here is what working as a Field Coordinator at Proscapes will entail:
Enjoying the freedom of working outdoors 80% of the time and in the office 20%
Visiting job sites to check in with crews, assess quality and productivity, and provide training and feedback
Coordinating job site meetings with sales representatives or designers prior to the start of a project
Showing adaptability when working outside under various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, or cold)
Demonstrating your extensive applied knowledge of effective landscaping skills and techniques
Feeling a sense of achievement after resolving issues as they arise with foremen, crew leaders, and the sales team
Taking pride in the high-quality work and productivity of the crews and subcontractors that you direct
Displaying your leadership skills with problem-solving and positive employee relations
Effectively managing all aspects of the construction process for your projects
Coordinating landscaping crews working on small to medium size projects, or multiple crews working on large projects
Providing direction, plot/design plans, job information, and scheduling to landscape crews
Demonstrating your organizational skills for the delivery of materials and equipment needed for job sites, including ensuring paperwork is completed correctly for delivery drivers and landscape employees
Communicating work needs, timeliness, and completion information to the office manager and sales team
Meeting weekly with the office manager and sales team to discuss job costs on current and recently completed jobs
Fostering positive client relationships and establishing rapport on job sites as you share information
Enjoying a change in pace during the winter months, with snow plowing, snow route management, planning for the upcoming season, and any other special projects
Taking pride in representing the leadership team and supporting management and company directives
Ensuring company safety policies and procedures are applied at all times, keeping your crews safe on the job
We ask that you have these qualifications:
5 years of landscape construction experience
5 years of leadership experience as a foreman or crew leader
Specialized knowledge of hardscape, planting, irrigation, aquatics, and lighting
General plant identification knowledge, including trees, shrubs, and perennials
Equipment operating experience (loader, Bobcat, skid steer, and other landscape construction equipment)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret landscape design plans
Basic landscape design and/or AutoCAD skills, with the ability to complete commercial take-offs
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Suite software
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to squat, kneel, and lift objects from the ground
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights of up to 50 pounds
Ability to fully extend your arms above your head in front of your body
