We're hiring Armed Security Officer in Queens, NY!
Wage: $30.00/hr
Shift: Full Time. Monday - Friday 8:30am / 5 PM
Preferable but not limited to Retired Law Enfocement Officer with full NYS unrestricted carry.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
- Respond to emergencies and investigate disturbances
- Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
- Secure facility and designated areas
- Enforce facility and company policies and procedures
- Investigate and prepare reports on incidents
- Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
Qualifications
Must have a NYS Armed Guard Permit
- Must have 1 year of armed security guard experience
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have customer service experience
