VOLUNTARY BENEFITS CONSULTANT

They help our clients provide and administer healthcare and voluntary benefits to their employees; ensuring they stay compliant with state and federal laws and answering employee questions along the way.

Our Voluntary Benefits Consultants provide world-class service experiences to our clients and employees through showcasing voluntary benefits expertise. This role is responsible for the accuracy and timely administration of voluntary benefit programs including 401(k), flexible spending/dependent care accounts, and other Section 125 benefits in addition to client billing. You'll be the main point of contact for all voluntary benefits related tasks and inquiries.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide best-in-class service to our clients and worksite employees through interactions over the phone, via email and in person.
  • Ensure that all interactions are professional, courteous, and positive experiences. Serve as subject matter expert for all voluntary benefits inquiries.
  • Showcase expertise by monitoring a high volume of incoming requests from incoming calls, emails, and internal escalations.
  • Review, approve, and process 401(k) distribution, loan and rollover requests. Manage enrollment process for life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment claims for worksite employees and beneficiaries.
  • Audits voluntary benefits deductions for new clients, and completed monthly reconciliation of benefits.
  • Own documentation and resolutions of billing discrepancies to ensure accuracy and accountability of vendor partners.
  • Manage the weekly remittance of employee 401(k) deferrals to vendor partners in a timely manner.
  • Play a key role in delivering a successful voluntary benefits open enrollment. Partner with vendors to ensure timely and accurate benefit elections are received and processed. Audit new elections to ensure compliance in all voluntary programs.

WHAT WE'D LIKE FOR YOU TO HAVE

  • Experience

    • 5 years of customer service experience in financial services, retail sales, food and beverage or fast paced, goal-oriented environment.

    • Prior experience in HR or Benefits Administration a plus.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet application skills.

  • Passion for providing exceptional customer experiences that provide satisfaction and results that serve to the client's needs while being mindful of the operational impact to maintain expectations.
  • Ability to establish partner relationships and be visible and accessible.
  • Strong Organizational Skills. Ability to plan, organize, and schedule in an efficient productive manner.
  • Effectively able to juggle multiple projects while focusing on key priorities.
  • Confident in judgment and decision making.
  • Ability to understand and absorb complex, new information rapidly.

Salary : $54,500 - $69,000
