Position Title: Buyer I
Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Buyer with our client in Renton, WA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help source IT hardware across manufacturing facilities, offices, & operations in the Americas.
- This will include IT hardware including servers, networking, storage, and desktop-related equipment. In addition to sourcing the equipment, you’ll be intricately involved in raising purchase orders, coordinating logistics, negotiating and redlining contracts.
- You will support the overall procurement organization’s strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved to include delivery of production materials that are on time, within budget and meet technical performance requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience. Special attention will go to those who specifically have purchases IT Hardware & IT Infrastructure technology
- Experience working in HW procurement in a fast-paced environment
- Strong background in Excel, knowledge of RFQ and ordering processes, and experience negotiating with suppliers
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent communicator; describes detailed problems with brevity and accuracy
- Self-starter who can manage several deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Pay Range: $40/hr
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C.
- 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
