At Prove, a Senior Program Manager is responsible for facilitating successful project delivery including the planning, scheduling, execution, and closing of projects for large transformational programs. They will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural born leader, they will have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation.
Ultimately, the Senior Program Manager is motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion They will acquire a deep understanding of our internal systems and capabilities to drive operational efficiencies, provide solutions to a variety of business and technical challenges, understand dependencies and ask the right questions to draw them out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee management and reporting of multiple projects within the Platform Engineering transformation program as well as other programs assigned by the CSO&CIO.
- Project Management Advisor. Advise project managers on selecting the best project mgmt method for the project. As a Sr Program manager you are expected to embrace hybrid methods (not just a focus on agile), to choose the right process for the right job, understand the benefits and potential pitfalls of different methods, and understand how to bring multiple teams together to deliver an overall program result.
- Program Governance and Reporting. Ensure teams report meaningful metrics and that meaningful metrics are gathered at a program level such that leadership can receive clear understanding of the program status.
- Stakeholder Management. Establish and cultivate positive relationships and open lines of communication with stakeholders to set and communicate expectations and minimize impact of problems by promptly communicating and resolving issues.
- Communication and Collaboration. Ensure clear communication and excellent collaboration in and across teams. Establish accountability. Facilitate creative solutions by soliciting input and creating space for solutions to emerge, communicating decisions and solutions, then ensuring next steps are understood and the teams are all accountable for following up.
- Program Facilitation. Effectively bring multiple teams together, motivate them and hold them accountable to deliver the program objective. Where there are delays, understand the implications and the impact of those delays, identify solutions and arm leadership with information, data and options to make sound tactical decisions for the program.
- Clarity. Ensure the program has clear goals, as well as ensuring contributing teams have clearly defined scope for their project, a good understanding where they fit in the overall larger program picture, and are supported, guided and accountable for their part in problem identification and resolution, while seeking to balance project need with other pressures and demands on a contributing team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 7-10 years experience in program management, related field, and/or equivalent military experience.
- Must have familiarity with Cloud and Cloud migration processes, and experience leading delivery teams overseeing migration of large systems to the Cloud.
- Strong technical background with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle
- PMP or similar certifications desired.
- Data Center experience or knowledge helpful.
- Experience managing large, successful, transformational programs.
- Able to navigate stakeholder expectations and influence actions without direct authority.

- Experience in high-growth /pre-IPO Technology companies

The salary range for this role is $160,000-180,000. Additional compensation will also include a company bonus / commission plan. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
