What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Consultant position at Prove?
As a Solutions Consultant, you are a highly technical solutions consultant and love working with people. You will consult during the critical early phase of the customer lifecycle, onboarding Prove’s new clients. And will continue to offer technical consultation as needed throughout our client lifecycles. To succeed you will work closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Solutions Delivery Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Support to solve complex problems and reduce implementation and troubleshooting time.
The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting complex technical integration issues, leveraging technical aptitude in client conversations, and consulting across multiple client engagements concurrently to set up clients for successful launches. You are encouraged to think big, invent and take ownership of customer challenges. Additionally, you will help improve the implementation and integration process and experience to work with key internal teams and enhance our products.
What you are responsible for
- Technical consulting throughout the life-cycle of our clients, consuming customer workflows, setting clients up for a successful partnership, and accelerating their “revenue-live” status
- Being the “One-Stop-Shop” Subject Matter Expert for all of our internal and external consultative needs
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, adapt to customer demands, and able to “think on your feet”
- Proactively test new functionality and existing workflows in order to maintain an intricate knowledge of all Prove products and platforms
- Interface with our Product and Tech Support teams to ensure the smooth deployment of new features and fixes through QA Testing and analysis
- Proactively review designs of new platform features and functionality to test and determine if the change will impact live clients
- Be accountable for ensuring that the process for an existing client taking a new product to market is a seamless experience
- Promote, maintain and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.
- Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
What we require
- 5 years of deep, hands-on technical expertise with enterprise IT applications and integration projects (with ACV > $250K annually) across multiple stakeholders at a SaaS company or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; equally comfortable speaking to internal or external technical teams and non-technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities; able to break complex technical hurdles into measurable actions
- Highly organized and self-motivated; able to manage multiple important investigations simultaneously, with little direction on tight deadlines
- Able to think strategically, as well as dive into the details, and know when to operate at each of those levels.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- You’re known for being a good collaborator and can motivate or maintain enthusiasm throughout the onboarding engagement
- You’re able to quickly come up to speed, tap into your experiences, and provide adequate mentorship to junior level staff
- High level of intellectual curiosity and apply it troubleshooting customer issues
- Proven technical aptitude, potentially with domain expertise in the following: SaaS, Mobile, Rest APIs, Identity and/or Authentication; PMP Certification is preferred but not required
- Background in Programming languages
- Experience in cybersecurity, fintech, or fast-growing startup is highly preferred
- Experience in a high-growth tech startup growing from $50m to $200m in ARR
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
The salary range for this role for Denver, Colorado only is $130,000 - $155,000. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
