**Description** ****We are currently offering remote work from one of our footprint states which are inclusive of AK, WA, OR, MT, CA and or TX**** **Providence is seeking a Senior IS Project Manager:** The Project Manager is accountable for one or more large and complex projects in the area of information technology with a focus on Revenue Cycle applications. Manages all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor. Ensures projects are planned and executed in a manner that supports the Information Systems department and Providence Health Plan objectives. MAJOR CHALLENGES: Adapt and respond effectively to a constantly changing business and technology environment. Manage multiple conflicting priorities. Coordinating efforts across initiatives, committees and work teams, using lessons learned to effect broad and lasting changes. Oversee/manage multiple initiatives while maintaining the ability to handle urgent needs as they arise. Ability to successfully manage risk and issues in a collaborative, highly matrixed environment. **In this position you will:** **Strategic:** Develop projects within a program in alignment with the organization’s strategic plans and objectives. Build support to influence decisions in order to ensure work toward common objectives. Proactively inform and influence others in order to maintain the balance required between business needs; project partner strategy and standards; and financial requirements and budgets. Facilitate strategic planning with internal customers for deployment of information technologies and/or major services and products. **Management:** Manage client expectations from initial project identification and through the project lifecycle. Develop and gain sponsor approval and signoff of the project charter / scope and / or work breakdown schedule. Manage portfolio programs with increased complexity, strategic priority and / or visibility, system and/or regional priority. Develops and leads the project team to the delivery of successful project outcomes. Engage and organize the assignment of activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project estimates, task dependencies and schedule. Builds and manages multiple, multi-functional collaborative project and / or work teams. Coordinates the activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project budget, task dependencies and schedule. Scope, risk and issue management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans. Develops, initiates and manages a communication plan, including regular project status reports. Delivers appropriate integration, training and implementation plans and activities. Manages stakeholders and multiple project teams in the context of a single project. Acts as a coach and mentor. **Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** Proven hands-on project management skills. Strong facilitation, planning and management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing projects with multiple project teams, product development life-cycle, or quality life-cycle. Experience with PM methodologies and software. Experience making formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders. Demonstrated experience developing and modifying process standards and objectives to a project as appropriate. Strong financial management skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Must have strong organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities and excellent written and spoken communication skills. Highly self-motivated and self-directed. Keen attention to detail. Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional customer service orientation. **Required qualifications:** Bachelor's Degree in Project Management / Business Administration / Healthcare Administration / Clinical. 6 years of project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations leading medium to large complex projects using PM methodologies and software. 6 years of project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations managing projects with multiple project teams, product development lifecycle, or quality lifecycle. 6 years of project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations making formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders. 6 years of project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations developing and modifying process standards and objectives to a project as appropriate. **Preferred qualifications:** 2 years of experience with Revenue Cycle applications. Certifications in process optimization such as Six Sigma, Lean, CQIA or other nationally recognized program.
