Description

Collects, compiles and maintains demographic, clinical and follow-up data on all cancer cases diagnosed and/or treated at Providence facilities in the Portland Service Area. Extracts data from all available sources including EPIC, Mosaic, and other department-specific databases. Prepares information state submission, NCDB submission and for local analysis and dissemination. Performs all cancer registry work in compliance with the standards set by the American College of Surgeons.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Two years cancer registry experience.
  • Upon hire: National Certified Tumor Registrar - National Cancer Registrars Association
  • 2 years of Cancer registry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years registry abstracting experience
  • CTR credentials. Note the name has changed so it is now ODS which is the same thing as CTR
