The Quality Assurance RN performs functions that support the hospital and medical staff to continually improve patient care, reduces risk, and provide excellent customer service. This position provides support, facilitation, and coordination to support clinical and process improvements throughout the organization.
This position is responsible for supporting the overall hospital preparation and coordination for regulatory compliance. This position co-chairs the Regulatory Readiness Committee and Patient Safety team and possesses a comprehensive understanding of The Joint Commission, DOH, DSHS and CMS standards/regulations and facilitates compliance with standards/regulations by administrators, department directors and staff. This position is also responsible for maintenance of the policy and procedure process, for leading teams and committees associated with improving patient care, patient safety, and communicating regulatory requirements. This position serves as the primary contact with The Joint Commission, DOH, CMS and DSHS (for regulatory compliance).

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Nursing from an accredited program
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
- Five years Hospital acute care
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Recent leadership experience
- 1 year experience with Joint Commission standards, state and federal regulations
- 1 year Projects and/or team facilitation, public speaking, adult education, policy development and analysis
