Senior Epic PB Contracts Analyst - remote role working within one of our footprint states (WA, OR, MT, CA, NV or TX)
With 120K caregivers, Providence is the largest Epic customer in the world. We have 52 hospitals, 950 clinics in addition to many Communities Connect partnerships across 8 states including Alaska, California, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas & Washington. This includes Acute, Critical Access, Rural & Provider Based settings. We operate 3 instances of Epic and host a large variety of Epic modules. This is a remote position and requires occasional travel.
This position entails:
Analysis – Investigate processes to understand operational requests. Research, analyze and develop understanding of workflows of end users
Building & Testing – Test, build and deploy PB contracts
Troubleshooting – Methodically approach problems or processes to troubleshoot and resolve open issues
Developing Knowledge/Skills – Obtaining an in-depth knowledge of the Epic platform for the supported application and a general knowledge of other applications supported along with detail understanding of the integration of modules within the Epic Enterprise.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: Applicable Epic Certification may be required within 3 months of last class required for certification (must be kept up to date)
- Upon hire: Some application suites require advanced current clinical knowledge and expertise (Pharmacist, Registered Nurse, LPN, Therapist) as demonstrated by a current state license
- 7 years of build analyst experience in Epic and/or equivalent healthcare software (may substitute for Epic Certification and build experience)
Preferred qualifications:
- Epic Resolute Professional Billing Reimbursement Contracts certification and experience.
- 4 years of Epic Certification with build experience
- Revenue Cycle experience
- Excellent communication skills and customer-service oriented
- Proven critical thinking skills, follow through, and attention to detail
