Description
Under supervision the Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients at PAMC as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. Responsible for the assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. Implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. Assesses, analyzes, customizes, coordinates and communicates the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team.

- Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner - Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Night Shift, Hours are as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Upon hire: National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care Or
- Upon hire: National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is preferred.
- Associate degree in Respiratory Care.
- 1 year of clinical experience as Respiratory Therapist.
