This position facilitates improvement in the overall quality", completeness, and accuracy of medical record documentation. Obtains appropriate clinical documentation through extensive interaction with physicians, nursing staff, other patient caregivers, and Health Information Services coding staff to ensure that clinical documentation reflects the level of service rendered to patients is complete and accurate.

Required qualification:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing

  • Evidence of ongoing personal professional growth and education.

  • Required upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License

  • 2 years Recent health care experience.

Preferred qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree
