Providence is calling a Foundation Coordinator (Foundation, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
- Analyzes, plans, implements, markets, and manages the various campaigns of the annual giving programs including, but not limited to direct mail, donor clubs, personal asks, special events, internal campaigns, employee giving events and other support program.
- Assists the CPO in working toward the goals and strategies which have been implemented to maximize giving to PSMMC and to determine marketing strategies for new and renewal donors.
- Analyzes the results of annual campaigns and provides regular reports for presentation to management and relevant committees with information on all statistical aspects of the program.
- Responsible for acquisitions and renewal of recurring gifts in the $1.00 to $10,000.00 range with special emphasis on annual contributions via personal solicitation and other methodologies.
- Coordinates with the CPO and staff marketing and communication efforts as related to development.
- Working with the CPO, oversees the execution of all of the foundation fundraising events.
- Working with the CPO, identifies and solicits sponsorships from appropriate vendors and businesses.
- Identifies and trains volunteers to participate in the development and advancement activities on behalf of the foundation.
- Promotes a positive work ethic and collaborative team environment.
- JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Participates in drafting department strategic plan and budgets.
- Reviews procedures and suggests revisions.
- Promotes a positive learning environment for students, interns and volunteers.
- HUMAN RESOURCES:
- Employee completes all tasks and duties accurately and timely within assigned shift. Demonstrates initiative to perform job duties autonomously.
- Attends mandatory and other education offerings per department and hospital requirements. May assist with education on the unit.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- 3 years demonstrated Experience in annual fund planning, organizing, implementation, and assessment. Experience in planning, coordinating and supervising meetings, volunteer boards and committees.
- Experience with personal computers and ability to work efficiently in a Windows-based environment.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in conducting employee campaigns.
