Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) - Medical Acute at Providence St. Mary Medical Center
This position will be working 72 hours per 2 week pay period, 12 hour day shifts.
The Nursing Assistant Registered performs assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN. Working with a preceptor and assuming increased responsibility during the residency, the Nursing Assistant Registered supports nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quiet, clean, organized environment using care delivery. Key functions and specific skills for this job are found in the unit specific onboarding checklist and in the Standards of Practice and competencies for nursing assistants.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
- Current license in the State of Washington as Nursing Assistant Registered.
- Must obtain Nursing Assistant Certification within 6 months of date of hire into role.
- Current BLS – Healthcare provider (must be AHA accredited).
Preferred qualifications:
- Successful completion of a pre-licensure nursing assistant program.
