Pharmacy Technician, St Patrick Hospital-Broadway Bldg-Missoula MT

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS)

Shift Details:

• Part time, 0.6 FTE, 24 hours per week, Evening Shift

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Minimum Experience 1 year.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Pharmacy technician program.
• PTCB certification.
• Specialty certification (e.g. ACPE approved sterile compounding certification).
• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).
