Position Description
The Clinical Program Supervisor is responsible for administrative and general clinical supervision of care coordinators. The Clinical Program Supervisor completes ongoing quality assurance measures as well as clinical supervision to support care coordinators’ ability to understand and follow the standards set forth by the program. The Clinical Program Supervisor will maintain a small active caseload as well as assist in the management of caseload overflow. The position requires regular driving and travel time to various communities within the state of Iowa in which services are provided and participate in a rotational on-call schedule.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
· Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance at a specific location in the community and throughout the service region to perform assigned tasks
· Provide administrative and clinical supervision to care coordinator(s)
· Provide solution-focused feedback to care coordinator(s) as they work toward certification and meeting fidelity standards
· Regular completion of quality assurance measures and reports for all team members; addressing issues as they arise through active communication and solution-focused planning with care coordinator(s) and administration
· Participate (active and productive) in re-occurring meetings including leadership clinical team, triage, Summits, CET, training, etc.
· Lead daily triage and process program referrals
· Ensure the coordination of support meetings and crisis plans for individuals served
· Development of all clinical documentation required by the program
· Maintain linkages and relationships with community partners
· Maintain an active caseload as well as assist in the management of caseload overflow when needed
· Share responsibility for On-Call coordination as well as be a part of a rotational on-call schedule
· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or another human service field with 2 years of experience working with people who have IDD and mental health and/or challenging behavior needs.
Or
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or another human service field with 4 years of experience working with people who have IDD and mental health and/or challenging behavior needs is acceptable.
• 2 years of Supervisory Experience
• Must be a certified START Coordinator within 12 months of employment as a clinical team
• Prior experience as a START Coordinator (certified coordinator) is preferred
• Experience with systems work; specifically, with families, physicians, and IDD/MI services providers
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Requires independent and organization skills as well as acceptance of feedback
• Must be self-motivated and ability to maintain productivity while working remotely
• Must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license and be insurable under Elevate’s guidelines
