Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. Candidates must possess senior-level expertise in RFID and NFC. Demonstrable experience with complex RF networks and systems is essential.
The ideal candidate should possess a robust expertise in designing, developing, maintaining, and overseeing advanced RF (RFID, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.) systems and networks. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our projects to successful outcomes, leading teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet our ambitious goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create RF schematic block diagrams and perform complex RF design analysis
- Specification: Develop RF system specifications and perform system-level RF architecture design
- Testing: Test RF design elements and troubleshoot RF circuit issues
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet overall system requirements
- Analyze: Use network analysis tools to optimize RF networks and perform RF path loss calculations, system predictions, and modeling
- Documentation: Create and update documentation, including technical specifications and schematics
- Project Management: Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from initial concept to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Supervision and Mentorship: Oversee and guide electrical engineering teams, including mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
- Implementation: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement complex electrical projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred
- More than 5 years of experience in RF engineering, with a proven track record of successful project leadership
- Extensive knowledge of RF technologies, testing equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with RF simulation software and a strong understanding of RF principles and theory
- Proficiency in lab automation software platforms (e.g., Python, BASIC, C )
- Familiarity with feasibility assessments and design of electrical systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage subordinates and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask on multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Collaborative team spirit
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related needs
