Reporting to the Vice President of Creative Services for Prudential Communications, this role will lead and optimize the video production workflow. This involves managing the studio and field video production team, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, collaborating with partners to understand their communication goals, and delivering high-quality videos within specified timelines and budgets. In this capacity, the Studio Director will be responsible for strategic planning for studio technology, including maintaining equipment and necessary upgrades. This individual will manage the financial aspects of individual projects, coordinate the assignment and activities of the production crew and freelance resources, stay updated on industry trends, and foster a collaborative and efficient studio environment. The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. What you can expect: Nurture and lead a team of direct reports providing mentorship on project timelines, quality standards, and creative direction Contribute to technical roadmaps and requirements that encompass current and future needs Develop, evaluate, and refine concepts and expand technical documentation on new and existing systems Support and lead our most complex, visible, and critical video/multi-media and live broadcast projects. Manage video equipment, technology, and resources to optimize workflow efficiency Collaborate closely with partners to understand project goals and translate them into compelling visual narratives Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to infuse fresh perspectives into our video content What you’ll need: 7-10 years of professional experience; bachelor’s degree in a related field 5 years of management experience; leading through both authority and influence Demonstrated expertise in video operations and production, including scriptwriting, shooting, and editing Proficiency in video editing software and a keen eye for visual storytelling Self-starter with a client-centric and solutions mentality, propensity for action, and ability to work in a matrixed environment Excellent relationship management, client engagement, and persuasive influence skills Approachable executive presence; ability to build successful relationships at all levels It’d be a plus if you had: A leader and doer who knows when to delegate and when to roll up sleeves Grace under pressure with a high degree of comfort operating in fluid, rapidly changing situations Prudential welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement. The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
